RIVER DART PADDLING WEEKEND

MARCH 25th-27th 2011 Friday -Sunday

Hi all,

Due to the amazing success of the last DART trip I am organising the same trip again on the above dates.

I have room for only 20 paddlers so please confirm asap to secure your place.

A Great Social and Fun weekend, with plenty of paddling to help you back into the 2011 season.

Designated coach to be confirmed.

The price for accommodation has stayed the same.

On Sunday 7th November Graham will be leading a club river paddle on the Tamar. Email grahambristow@truro-penwith.ac.uk or phone him on 01736 741164 to let him know your interested in coming along.
If you have transport space or difficulties mention this when talking to Graham, the more we all car share the better.
If you need to borrow any club kit call Dan on 01736 366784 to arrange collection on Sat 6th.

Cold cold and more cold where's the rain?

Had a look at the Loop yesterday Sunday 3rd Jan 2010

This is the weir just after the bridge.

Paddlers on it complained that it was about 4 inches below the slab

so if your heading up there be prepared for a bumpy ride.

Meanwhile Flowerpots in Exeter looked interesting as ever with less than the normal flow to wash out.

Anyway winter draws on everybody lets see what happens when the cold weather moves on Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
